It is with excitement and sincerity that I say, "Hello, Boston."
No, I didn't just move here. I'm not new in town. I've actually lived in the Greater Boston area since 2010 when I made the transition from a small New Jersey town just outside of New York City to Chestnut Hill to attend Boston College. When I arrived in Massachusetts to study Accounting and Marketing, I immediately fell in love with the area. Fall in New England will do that to you. I graduated from BC with those two degrees in 2014 and subsequently moved into my first apartment in the North End. Four years, many pizzas, and a wedding later, my husband and I settled down in West Medford with our dog, Bailey.
I say, "Hello, Boston" because I am now seeing the city from a completely new perspective. Real Estate is a new and wonderful chapter for me. The first part of my career was predominantly spent in Public Accounting, during which time I obtained my CPA license and my Real Estate license. My accounting career started off in Assurance and later transitioned to a role in Transaction Advisory, working on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
My career in mergers and acquisitions was challenging, and it was moving at a good clip. I learned a great deal about the transaction process, delved into various industries, and traveled quite a bit; however, Real Estate always beckoned me. I had gotten a taste for it selling my husband's home in Stoneham and buying our home in Medford. I really couldn't stay away, and eventually made the transition to pursue my passion full time.
So, "Hello, Boston." My name is Erica Carson. I am a Realtor®, CPA, and trusted advisor for all of your Real Estate needs. This is my life, my passion, and I look forward to providing you top quality client service with unwavering integrity for years to come.
